For a quick bite, head out to Kohinoor Snacks, which has a range of chaats, golgappas (popularly known as phuchka) and dahi bara. Also try out the road-side Dhabas on G.T.Road near NIT for some great rotis, muttons and tadkas at unbelievable rates. For the typical Bengali sweets, head out to Sohini Sweets that stocks up on the sweet white sandesh and gur sandesh. Don't miss their popular mishti doi (sweetened curd).
