Nagarhole, India

Named after the snake like rivers that drain the entire area of the Park, Nagarhole is one of the oldest National Parks in the country. Home to a wide variety of deer, elephants and bison, Nagarhole is home to a large avi-faunal population too. A couple of temples are present inside the Nagarhole Park, the most famous one being dedicated to goddess Durga. Some falls dot the region of the park giving it an interesting landscape. Iruppa Falls are one of the best falls in Nagarhole. Not a place to find too many hotels. However there are a handful hotels in Nagarhole that cater to the needs of the visitors to the park. These Nagarhole hotels provide good comforts and facilities.
